"Working with Ellie has considerably improved my life. Her calm manner allowed me to open up and trust her very quickly. I don't remember one session where I didn't learn something new about myself — she asks thought-through questions, and is never judgemental in her approach."— Client"Working with Ellie over the course of a year really helped me unlock some subconscious patterns in my self-image and thought, and find a way to a more compassionate perspective about myself. I now have more tools and compassionate understanding to deal with difficult situations, making a real change to my everyday life."— Client"Working with Ellie has been a genuinely transformative experience. From the first session she created a warm, welcoming, completely non-judgemental space. Rather than simply offering advice, she gently guides you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and her flexibility with appointments has made therapy feel accessible and manageable alongside a busy life."— Client"Ellie is thoughtful, kind and effective. She strikes a wonderful balance of challenging when needed, asking insightful questions, and always aiming to be supportive. I feel very held and supported, but encouraged to do the work for myself — and that makes me feel empowered and authentic in my own growth."— ClientWhat could you get from therapy?
What someone takes from therapy is always shaped by them: their life, their pace, and what they’re bringing. But drawing on research into what makes therapy effective, as well as my experience with clients, these are some of the shifts that often happen over time.
A clearer sense of what's really going on. When we’ve been living close to something difficult for a long time, it can be hard to see it clearly. Therapy offers space to slow down and begin to understand the deeper roots of what’s been hard, not just what’s on the surface, but where it comes from.
A broader view of what's possible. When we’re stuck, it can feel like there’s only one way to see a situation. Therapy can begin to open that up, so that where there once felt like one door, you start to notice others.
A gentler relationship with yourself. Many people find that, over time, they become less self-critical, more attuned to their needs, and more settled in who they are. This one change can have a profound impact on how we experience day to day life, and how we're able to show up.
Movement towards what matters. The aim isn’t only to feel less pain. It’s also to find ways of moving towards a life that feels more aligned with what you value and who you want to be.
None of this happens overnight, and there’s no single right way through it. But with the right space and the right relationship, change does happen.
